Job Description:


Responsibilities require candidate to be a team leader in the shift when their crew installs, troubleshoots and repairs plant equipment. They will work on the machinery as well as building (such as door, HVAC, rooftop fans) as needed.

Successfully implement maintenance activity in the shift and performing routine inspections with the help of millwrights.
Plan the job for millwrights on the shift. Ensure the maintenance work quality to be performed by the millwrights.
Ensure housekeeping is maintained and spare availability in shop floor.
Inform critical spares to planner / maintenance head on a daily basis.
Training of engineers and technicians related to maintenance techniques, job safety analysis, and Lockout/Tagout, etc.
Execute equipment project improvements for process efficiency.
Submit necessary breakdown analysis to the head of mechanical maintenance and suggest any modifications that would contribute to reduced down time of equipment.
Utilize SAP daily as a CMMS and to submit material requests.
Implement OSHA standards in work culture to achieve zero recordable injury.
Report planned job status to maintenance head.
Ensure machine drawings, spare parts, tools, and PPE are available on the shop floor.
Formulate and coordinate program specifications, requirements for proposals and contracts, and associated documents.
Coordinate with production supervisor to maintain the condition of pipe manufacturing equipment.
Plan breakdown, preventive and shutdown job execution.
Oversee the millwright schedule & attendance.
Conduct daily tool box meetings.
Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises millwrights on the shift. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or

Experience:


Bachelors’ Degree or Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. With four to five years hands on experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, fundamentals of plane and solid geometry, and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of Microsoft suite, especially Excel and Word Processing, as well as the skills to use SAP/ERP.
