Our Controls Engineers are required to:
* Provide hardware design as required for controls systems including:
* Power Distribution
* PLC Panels
* Magnetics
* I/O requirements and component interface
* Devicenet, Ethernet I/P or Profibus Networks
* Field wiring
* Fluid requirements (hydraulic, pneumatic, lube & water)
* Robotic interfacing
* Acad or Eplan experience
* Provide software design as required for controls systems including:
* PLC logic development or PC based control programming
* HMI development
* Perform pre-approval checks on hardware and software designs before submittal
* Perform all field checks and verifications as required
* Provide start-up/debug assistance during build, tryout and at customer facility
* Establish communication
* Field check I/O
* Commission software

Requirements:
* Bachelor degree in Engineering BSEE, BSEET, BSME or equivalent education or experience
* Top notch organizational skills
* Minimum 5 years PLC hardware and software design experience (AB or Siemens)

Ability to demonstrate proficiency in the following:
* Hardware design (multiple applications)
* Software design with utilization of PLC and HMI programming software
* SCADA systems
* Start-up and debug of automation systems and technologies utilized in the automotive industry

* Travel for extended periods of time to meet customer expectations and project requirements (>35%)
